are pleased to announce:
Ms. Josephine (Jo) Jarrett has joined Martex Fiber Southern Corp as VP
of Manufacturing Operations and will focus on the firm’s Jimtex Yarns
division based in Lincolnton GA. Jarrett brings 14 years of management
experience with Hanesbrands Inc, formerly National Textiles and Sara
Lee. Jo will bring her dynamic plant management skills to Jimtex Yarns
and facilitate the firm’s current expansion plans, which include added
capacity for its production of recycled cotton blend and plied yarns. As
VP of Manufacturing, Jarrett will be responsible for the delivery of
industry leading, quality products and work with marketing/sales to
facilitate R&D and customer service. Jo will also oversee production
in MFSC’s machine fiber division with Jamie Jarrett, Plant Manager.
MFSC has also announced several other promotions including Bruce
Hogan, who will become Director of Sales for Jimtex Yarns and Kassandra
Braun, Director of Design and Color Development. Jimtex Yarns supplies
eco-friendly yarn that is created by blending pre-colored new recycled
ECO2cotton® fiber. The firm specializes in fiber that is reprocessed
from new apparel cutting scraps, which are accumulated during the
production of textile products. In addition to spinning fibers and
yarns, Martex Fiber, based in Spartanburg SC, offers a wide line of
recycled fiber blends that are suitable for automotive products, green
building materials, home furnishings and fill products.
