Jimtex Yarns - Closing the Loop! |
Jimtex Yarns was founded in 1998 by the Martex Fiber Southern Corporation as the next step in vertically integrating its textile waste recycling operation. Jimtex has since grown to attract the attention of prominent apparel manufacturers and contract knitters. Designers realize that the regenerated yarns look good…feel good…and knit extremely well. The yarns offer great solutions for companies looking for “green” alternatives.
The yarns produced by Jimtex are typically 75-80% cotton blended with Acrylic, Polyester or now Recycled Polyester. They are available in 6-18/1 cotton counts in solids, bleached and heathers in over 50 beautiful, fashionable colors, producing an infinite list of color combinations. Available in single and multi-plies, the yarn can be produced for either knitting or weaving and can also be marled with other novelty yarns.
